So this is the only recent picture I could find on my camera. Guess I need to stop sucking and take more pictures!
I can't believe that I have been able to play with and cuddle and kiss my little boy for as long as he was growing in my belly! It sure seems to go by so much slower when they are cooking inside. I sure love him and am so thankful that he made me a mommy!
Bronson is now crawling all over the house, and he is into EVERYTHING! He loves crawling over to the air intake vent and strumming it to make "music"!
He also tries to pull himself up on things. He can do it when he is on the couch or has pillows or cushions to pull himself up on, but can't quite do it without these aids yet.
He has 5 teeth, his two bottom teeth, and three of his top teeth (the other top one looks like it will break through any day now!) He is fascinated with the new "toys" in his mouth and loves to use his fingers and tongue to play with them. He also likes to grit his teeth together, which makes mommy cringe every time.
He talks non-stop and uses a lot of fluctuation in his voice. He really seems to know what he is saying and has lengthy conversations with his toys. He has also started clicking his tongue on the roof of his mouth.
He LOVES being outside. I'll put him in his pack and play outside while working in the garden or the yard and he is happy as can be. He also loves it when I walk around the yard with him, pointing out the trees and birds and flowers, and let him grab branches, twigs and leaves. When we open the front door, he crawls over to it at lightning speed, trying to get out the door before we shut it. And whenever we do shut the door or come inside after being out, he screams and cries.

Here are the stats from his 9 month visit:
Weight: 21 lbs. 5 oz. (65%)
Height: 29 inches (76%)
Head: 98%!!! ("Heead...pants...now!")
So after the Dr. looked at his head measurement, he told me that when babies start getting over 100%, there is a concern that there may be fluid on the brain causing the large cranium. I had to remind him that my husband has a big head, and that big heads run in the Bryner family! (Not the DeCastro's, though... we have pinheads!)
Side note: Speaking of Bronson's big head, the other day we were in Target and I saw a cute little pair of baby sunglasses. I wanted to try them on B since every time we go on a walk, the sun gets in his eyes and makes him mad. Jeff started cracking up when I put them on Bronson's face and the ear pieces stuck straight out. So Jeff then proceeded to measure the width of my head with the width of Bronson's head. Yep, same size! Guess I'll just let him wear MY sunglasses!
Back to the 9 month visit: I was finally able to talk to the Dr. about B-man's allergies, my concerns, and where to go from there. I first brought up the bread issue, and my concern that it was a wheat allergy. He said that we will wait until 1 year, and then possibly test him for it. Okay. So I then brought up the fact that after being around cats, he has had some severe allergic reactions: wheezing, coughing, chest caving in with each breath, hardly even able to breathe kind of issues (and it happened 3 times in one month). Dr. Carter then started to get concerned. He said that normally babies that age don't have allergic reactions to pets yet, but that with B's history of RSV, and other respiratory problems, there could be some severe allergies and that we needed to get to the bottom of it all. He referred me to an allergy specialist and said that there we would be able to get B tested for all sorts of possible allergies, including wheat.
Stay tuned for the results of his allergy test!
